Hi my name is Myfanwy, I'm a second year film student majoring in screen writing at Unitec's School of Performing and Screen Arts in Auckland, New Zealand.
I am of Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Kahungunu and European descent.

My research is titled Mana Wahine: The Representation of Maori Women in New Zealand Cinema.

b) A group of New Zealand films
(a) Consider:

II. The entirety of your filmmaker's oeuvre, with attention paid to key works (including demonstrating why they are so).
III. Key themes, moments, collaborators, techniques or innovations.
IV. The ways in which your exploration provides an insight into the filmmaker's work.

I. The rationale for grouping your chosen texts together.
II. The contextual, political, social or cultural relationships between the chosen texts.
III. The ways in which your exploration provides an insight into the grouping of texts.
